Winnipeg Manitoba Canada

Winnipeg is the largest city and capital of the province of Manitoba in Canada. It is located near the confluence of the two rivers: Red River and Assiniboine River.

Winnipeg name comes from the muddy waters from Westerncree. Winnipeg is the 7th most populated in Canada.

It called Gateway to the West ,for the railway and transportation with diversified economy. This city known for its multicultural heritage it hosts various annual festival like Winnipeg folk Festival, Festival du Voyageur, Jazz Winnipeg Festival and folklorama. It was the first city in Canada to host Pan American Games.

Winnipeg is home to major rivers Red River , La Salle, Assiniboine and Seine rivers. This city is prone to flooding because of these rivers.

Temperature in the city remain cold and humid, sometimes snow lasts for six months and temperature got down to -40 C. In summers there is plenty of thunderstorms.

City is regional and economic base . It has diversified economics and major employment in health, manufacturing, education, and major part in trade .It is known as the Cultural Capital of Canada by Canadian Heritage. There are around 26 National historic sites in Winnipeg. One of the most attractive site is The Forks which is the home for Winnipeg International Children's Festival and Manitoba Theatre for young People.

Winnipeg was ranked the least expensive location for business. It has low cost of living. Real estate in Winnipeg is affordable. It is easy to buy property in this city.

Winnipeg as a cultural capital of Canada is most attractive and beautiful. It is the wonderful place to visit, and ranked 5th in top 20 places in Canada to visit.
