Niagra Falls Canada



The collective name of Niagara falls is ‘ waterfall ‘. It is located in the border of Ontario, which is in Canada and New York, United States. When they together meet they are said to be known as Niagara Gorge. 


The Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Fall and the American Fall are the three smaller to larger falls, which are the number of drops in the Niagara fall. The Horseshoe Fall is located towards the Canadian side and is separated by the Goat island. And, in the America's side the Bridal Fall is located. It is separated by the Luna island.

                   Niagra fall is located on the Niagara river, which drains Erie Lake into Ontario Lake. These are the combined falls with highest flow rate in the world. Horseshoe Falls in North America is more powerful waterfall.

Toronto is the provincial capital of Ontario. It is the most populous in Canada. It has 2.6 million of population. It is commercial capital of Canada with having Toronto Stock Exchange and many largest banks. It is called an alpha world city because of its economic sectors' development.

For its diversity Toronto is unmatched. People from all over the world reside here. Asians, Chinese, French and many other people from whole world come stay in this city. People speak different languages in the city making it multilingual city. French, Punjabi, Chinese, Italian, Tagalog, Portuguese are some major languages that is a part of the Toronto city.

Montreal is a city in Quebec province. It is the largest in Quebec and second largest in whole Canada. It was originally called Ville-Marie which means 'City of Mary'. It is named after triple peaked hill in the city named Mount Royal.

The Cave and Basin, Alberta

The Cave and Basin is located in the town of Banff, Alberta in Canada. It is situated within the Canadian Rocky Mountain, where Canada's Banff National Park, the first national park was established.

It is National Historic Site of Canada. It was declared as National Historic Site in 1981. these caves are warm water caves with sulphur mountains. William McCardell and his brother and Frank McCabe first saw these caves in 1883. they were astonished to see these warm water caves.

It is the birthplace of various National Park system that starts from 1885. An artificial tunnel was made into the Cave and Basin for people to visit in 1886. The warm water from the cave is known for its curative properties. In 1914 a a swimming pool with naturally heated water was opened for the public.

 Now question arises that how this water get heated? Answer is when rain and snow falls on the Sulphur Mountains it ends in the Bow river. This got filter down through cracks in the mountain rock reach the depth of 2 miles below the surface and got heated up by the earth's core and water in the molten core got heated to reach it boiling point and then pull back to the surface. The temperature of spring is due to that boiling water which mixes with the cold ground water and heat up all the springs.

It is protected area and preserved for the local people. It is natural and its vegetation is so charming. This site of warm pools and surrounded wetlands and wildlife offers visitors to understand the value of this place.

This Cave and Basin is beautiful place with natural heritage of warm water and natural vegetation.

Charlottetown is a Canadian city. It is the number one tourist place to visit. It is the largest and provincial capital of this Island named Prince Edward Island. It was first established as a town in 1855

         It was famous for first Charlottetown Conference in 1864, this Conference is the first gathering of Maritime statesmen of Canada to propose Maritime Union. Quebec city, Quebec

Quebec is the capital of Quebec province of Canada. It has population of 517,000 people living in this city making it the 2nd most populous city after Montreal. Fogo Island, Newfoundland and Labrador

Fogo Island is largest in the Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This Island is about 14km wide and 25 km long with total area of 237,71 km square. It has population of 2700 people. Earlier only fisherman used to visit this Island, but there was no permanent settlements, but in 18th century Fogo Harbour and Tilting Harbour were first to settle on the Island.
